This was a quick study done in Painter Classic with the oil brush tools. This was featured on the cover of 'Fantasy' magazine in 2006, and won the Chesley award for Cover Illustration in the same year.

 

Hidden Place

March 2007

A piece painted completely in Photoshop CS3. This piece was featured in a collaborative portfolio with other artists, the object of which was to make artwork inspired by music. This piece was inspired by the artist Björk, and one of her songs by the same name.

 

Pathological Cephalopod

September 2008

Gouache on illustration board. This painting is based off a common octopus, and was inspired by a photograph of an octopus with a branching tentacles mutation.

 

Panda Loafs

Gouache on illustration board. The background was done with watercolor techniques. This piece was painted specifically for an art show, where it sold.
